Emergency Services Levy
Just received you rates notice? Then have a look again at the enclosed FESA leaflet that referred to the Emergency Service Levy (ESL) because there is a claim that we believe is misleading.
The leaflet claims that the ESL supports a range of Emergency Services and in this year’s leaflet, FESA have included "Volunteer Marine Rescue Services"
You would be forgiven if you thought that members of the Metropolitan Sea Rescue Alliance, (Cockburn, Fremantle and Whitfords Sea Rescue) receive some of these funds.
THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!
No portion of the funds your rates pay towards the Emergency Services Levy are passed on to Metropolitan Sea Rescue. Not one cent.
To our sponsors, supporters and members we say thank you for your continued support and ask you not to withdraw that support based solely on the suggestion that we benefit from the payment of your local Government rates.
Our Groups will continue to fundraise in the time honoured traditional manner and we trust you will continue your support as you have done in the past.
National Australia Bank
Whitfords Volunteer Sea Rescue is pleased to welcome aboard our newest corporate sponsor, the National Australia Bank.

The Committee and members of Whitfords Sea Rescue extend a warm welcome to the NAB and look forward to a long and mutually rewarding relationship for many years to come.
