Yanchep to Mandurah and Offshore to Rottnest Island

wave may be up to twice the height.

Synoptic Situation
A high pressure system lies to the southwest of the state extending a ridge
inland over the south.

Forecasts:
Monday: E/SE winds 15/20 knots easing to SE 10/15 knots late morning, tending
S'ly 18/23 knots later in the afternoon. Seas 1.0m to 2.0m. Swell to 2.5m
easing.
Swell at Cottesloe: to 0.7m.
Winds on Melville Water: E/SE 15/20 knots easing to 10/15 knots during the
morning, tending SW'ly 10/15 knots by mid afternoon.

Tuesday: E/SE winds 15/20 knots tending S'ly 15/20 knots in the afternoon and
easing to 10/15 knots inshore for a period in the afternoon. Seas 1.0m to 1.5m.
Swell to 1.5m.
Wednesday: E/SE winds 15/20 knots tending S/SW 10/15 knots for a period in the
afternoon.

Current Swell Observations:
Rottnest Waverider Buoy: 1.7m
Cottesloe Waverider Buoy: 0.6m.

Current swell height information is supplied by the Department of Transport and
is current only at the time of issue of this forecast
