WVSRG operates safety convoys. Information on these can be found below.

Rottnest Safety Convoys

Metropolitan Volunteer Sea Rescue , comprising Fremantle, Cockburn and Whitfords Sea Rescue Groups will be running a one day safety convoy to Rottnest Island with emphasis on the participation of all the family in the safe handling of boats and marine radios. This will be an all day event, with a BBQ on Rottnest.

Minimum vessel size has been set at 5.5m (18ft) for reasons of safety and we regret we cannot make any exceptions to this rule.

Other convoys will be arranged to cater for future demand. Choose another date from the drop down list below. If there is no dates shown, all convoys have been booked. You can register your interest in case of any vacancy.

We have kept the cost down to $60.00 per boat plus landing fees if applicable.
