Challenge Marine Special.
Challenge Marine are having a  3 day sale  on the 30th, 31st of July and 1st of August.  Whitfords Sea Rescue have been invited to attend  between the  hrs of 10am - 2pm. Advertising for the event will be in the form of TV, Radio and Press so good numbers are anticipated.  Challenge Marine want nothing in return but the opportunity to promote our group and the work we do
 
We will run a sausage sizzle between 1000 and 1400 hrs as well as distribute leaflets on our radio membership and education courses by way of a static display. We will need 3 or 4 members to be there on each day so if you can help, please advise as soon as possible.

Avon Descent:
12,000 people are expected to attend the finishing line for this years Avon Descent on August 8th and we have been asked to attend with our BBQ trailer.  This is how we intend to pay for these new BBQ's.  We already have several members willing to help on the day but if you would like to be part of this event, just send me an email

Annual Dinner:
The annual combined Awards Dinner is being held on August 21st 2010.  This is a combined dinner for members of Whitfords, Fremantle and Cockburn sea rescue groups and includes the presentation of the MVSRG Service Medal. Come along and see your fellow members acknowledged for their contribution to Sea Rescue. Contact Judy Boag for bookings.
