If you have a VHF or an HF radio on board, you are required by law to have a license to operate it. This even applies if you have a VHF hand-held radio.

Whitfords Volunteer Sea Rescue has been advised by AMSA that we are not permitted to conduct Safety Convoys to Rottnest Island due to changes in regulations.
